Visually Guided

Visually-guided sclerotherapy is a treatment specifically designed to address spider veins (telangiectasias) and non-bulging varicose veins, that are near the surface of the skin.

This sclerotherapy method may be combined with other treatment methods used by the vein specialists at the Goldman Vein Institute. Our proven vein treatment methods work at addressing the root source of venous conditions to reduce the risk of recurrence and further complications vein disorders may lead to.

How Does Visually-Guided Sclerotherapy Work?

Visually-guided sclerotherapy is performed by our certified vein specialists, who use FDA-approved sclerosants to safely and effectively treat affected veins.  Our staff does not use hypertonic saline, but instead an FDA approved liquid sclerosant that is safer and more effective.

Depending on the severity of spider veins, our vein doctors may recommend multiple sessions to provide not only cosmetic relief, but also provide relief from symptoms such as aching, pain, tiredness, fatigue, itching, burning, heaviness, leg cramps, swelling, edema, throbbing and restless legs.

Visually-guided sclerotherapy treatments last about 20 minutes and are done in the comfort and convenience of our state of the art facilities.  After a series of sessions, patients may expect to see and feel immediate results.

Because sclerotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure, our patients are able to get back to their normal daily activities immediately.
